Inspired by Chef Todd, enjoy this amazing Korean Beef dish turned into an easy make jar meal.

Building Your Jar

  1. To build the jar meal, layer all items in order listed, in a quart jar, except the butter, brown sugar, soy sauce and water.
  2. Tap the jar as you layer to make all the ingredients disperse throughout the jar.
  3. Add oxygen absorber, new canning seal, and screw top lid. Tighten Lid.
  4. Label jar meal with name and date. Store in cool, dry enviroment for longest shelf life.

  6. Open jar meal and pour contents into a large pot with water, butter, brown sugar and soy sauce. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  7. Bring to a gentle boil and then cover and simmer for 11-15 min until the beef is refreshed and vegetables are tender. Stirr occassionally. Add more water if necessary.
  8. In another small pot, make 2 cups dry rice per package directions to yield 4 C rice.
  9. Serve Korean Beef over cooked rice. Enjoy!
